This 2 Michelin stars iconic restaurant is a reference for French gastronomy in Paris.
It has been undergoing a major refurbishment of most reception areas. The brief was to provide discrete but powerful general lighting, complemented with decorative fittings.
We went with extremely small and discrete yet powerful downlights, hidden in the ceiling, together with powerful linear lighting in the central ceiling cornice. These layers of light can be independently dimmed to provide the right levels of light, depending on the moment of the day and the atmosphere desired.
Decorative wall lights have been specifically sourced and customized to match the interior design.
Small accent and linear lighting are also hidden throughout the place, to enhance the boiseries and other architectural details of this historical building. The screens, specifically designed for the place, are highlighted with soft lines of light. Not to forget the “Reserve Taillevent” display for prestigious bottle, where each bottle is individually highlighted with minuscule soft light spotlights.
A beautiful and prestigious project, with Decret Design.
